His whole life from young manhood to old age was spent in the school room.

Notes taken from conversation with Eleanor M. Albea:
The Albea homeplace was right outside of Harmony, NC. If you were going north on highway 21 from Statesville it was about 1 to 2 miles outside of town on the right side of hwy 21. She also said that although her side of the albeas had moved outside of Harmony before she was born her grandparents had said that those that lived in Albea were related. Eleanors mother Lorene Kerr had started to research the family tree back in the 1950's by talking to all the living relatives but died not much there after. Lorene had said that 2 brothers had come over from Wales.
"Nana" Eleanor also said that the older Albea's were possibly buried in Harmony, NC in a church cemetery. She didn't think that there was a cemetery on the homeplace.
She was born at home and weight was 7lbs. The physician was Dr. Adams.
